Tenkuu no Shiro Laputa

Its a movie by anime-ghibli . In ENGLISH its also known as Castle in the sky . Laputa is lost city with the passage of time . No one knows about this floating city . It is said that a poweful crystal is used to make the castle fly. A girl who has a small fragment of this crystal gets abducted by some group of military and pirates . Miraculously , the girl escaped and she jumped from the airship . She was saved by the magical crystal . A boy found her . He was trying to Locate the legendary city Laputa . And we got a new adventure !

Ponyo of the cliff

Its an anime from Anime ghibli . R hrs and 43 minutes . Saw this one yesterday on my phone . The main plot starts with a 5 yrs old boy Tonomaru and a half-breed gold fish named Sosuke who wants to be a human girl to be friend with Tonomaru . Tonomaru finds her on the sea and named her Ponyo . Ponyo's mom is a sea-god and dad is a magician . The story is just amazing , you will love it !!!!!!

Muramasa

Probably you can call this Short film . This anime is only 8.42 minutes . But I liked the theme and the  message . The story is about a samurai who learns swordsmanship from his master . But after so much training , he begins to see humans as training dummy . So like his training he begins to cut them , I mean kill humans !

The anime has actually a surprising ending . You will like it . And I forgot to mention that this anime has no speaking !

Muramasa possibly means CURSED BLADE . Found this on google . I also saw Muramasa on Bleach and Shigurui

Howl's moving Castle

Its actually a movie but its a movie that comes in most lists of top 10 anime movies . Its made by Animeghibli . This movie is just amazing - the music , the slowly devoloping story , the drama , the folklore type environment and at last love .... I find this movie epic . The stroy has some huge turing points and happy ending . You will love it .

Now the plot comes up with a young women , Sophie who works in a hat shop . A group of guards tries to insult her and then a strange man named Howl saves her . That man walks on the air and takes her to her home . But her day turned into hell when an evil witch made her into an old woman . ENOUGH WITH THE PLOT . The next is upto you .

Angel Beats

Saw this one recently ... This has 13 episodes. The story is good but it was hard for me to understand. The anime is about some teenagers who had harsh experiences in real life and died miserable deaths. Now they come to a world to fullfill their dreams. A group was formed to defy GOD and they did their best to kill the Angel KANADE. Next is for you. The anime is actually a romantic and has mild actions ... Good to watch ....

I hope I did not spoil much.

A boring anime . But if you get inside the story and realize the flow of the story you will love it !On some part the story is really slow and its just irritating !

The main character is a 27 year old unmarried woman named Taeko who works in a company in Tokyo . She decided to take a trip to her brother-in-law in countryside to help with the sunflower harvest . On the train memories of her childhood starts coming back . . . That's the plot .

Tonari no Totoro

It was released in 1988 and its one of the best movies from Animeghibli . Its a famous award winning movie . The story takes place in 1958 when professor Tatsuko and his two little daughters Satsuki and Mei moves to a village . Their mom was sick and so the sisters have to live with their neighbour granny . Then Satsuki and Mei came to know a forest spirit named Totoro and they do many cool adventures with him . Mr. Totoro has all sorts of powers . Turning big , calling a cat bus ... The movie is insane .

And you will love the slice of life theme and the slow devoloping story . The story is heart-touchin and humane . No wonder , it won many prizes !

Recommended for you all - children and gramps !

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

Saw this one recently . It is time-travelling , science fiction and romance catagory anime . It was released in 2006 and strongly accalaimed by critics . The story is about a regular girl named Makoto konno who gains ability to travel through time . But she uses her power for pretty idiotic reasons ! She fell in love with a boy ...... But there is a huge turning point in the end .

You will love it !

Mononoke hime

A historic-fantasy catagory film by Animeghibli released in 1998 .This movie was a hit when it was released .

Japanese word Mononoke means monster or Bakemono ! The plot is about the last Emishi prince Ashitaka who travels to find answer about the demon god who attacked his village . Then he gets involved into a war between forest animal tribes and humans who wants to cut the trees for resources. Ashitaka meets both parts and he finds the mononoke princess . The next is up to you to see !

The movie gives us a message to maintain harmony between mother nature and humans !

When Marnie was there

It is based on a English novel . Released in 19 July , 2014 . Its a great movie to watch . The last part almost made me cry . I loved the whole story .In Japanese its also known as Omoie no Marnie .

The story is based on the life of a school girl Anna Sasaki . One day she collapsed on school for Asthma attack . So her foster parents sent her to their uncle's home . There Anna found an old mansion and met a young girl of her age named Marnie . They went through a lot of adventures but there is huge secret . You will find it at the end . Have fun watching it !

Kaze Tachinu or The Wind Rises

Its actually a movie . Made by Animeghibli . Catagory - Slice of life , war and romance . The stroy is about a boy , Jiro Horikoshi , who wants to be an aeronautical engineer . But his home , Japan joined in the 2nd world war and he has to design aircrafts for war . The boy worked in Mitsubishi company for desingning fighter plane , but his work fails . Like this he has to face many failures . But his story actually shows us the dedication of a true engineer .  The engineer's icon is an Italian designer and he talks about his opinions with him in his dreams . But actually he talks with himself !
 
 The story devolops gradully and it has a tragic ending . But the movie itself deserves our salute .

Rurouni Kenshin

I love writing reviews.This is the review of an epic anime,SAMURAI X.In Japanese,it is called RUROUNI KENSHIN.It is one of the most oldest and best anime.
People in Japan believe that the new meji era is created by a lagendary manslayer,Battousai.His  name was Shinta before his master Seijuro Hiko gave him a new name,Kenshin.he wasan apprentice of the ultimate swordmanship style Hitenmitsurugi Ryuu.Being misguided,he disobeys and leaves his master before completing his training.Killing countless people he creates a new era and at a time,he understands his faults.Then he swears not to kill people anymore and rises his reverse blade sword only to save the weak.He becomes a wanderer .Leaving Kyoto,he comes to Tokyo and finally finds some true friends at Kamiya Kassin Dojo.But circumstances take him back to Kyoto again and at last he was able to master the Hitenmitsurugi style by learning the final attack,Amakekeru Ryuu no hirameki from his master,Hiko.For establishing peace,he faces many old enemies of the past like Makoto Shishio,Aoshi Shinomori,Saito,Amakusa....The other main characters are Miss Kaoru,Sanouske Sagarra,Yahiko Miyojin,Miss Misao,Miss Migumi,Dr Gensai.....so on.Though its a very old anime,u cannot but love it if u watch it once,that u cant.

time for a review..review for the anime "ANOTHER".it's a psychological and a bit horror based anime with only 12 episodes.
the students of grade 7,class 3 start to feel that,there is an extra person in their class who is dead.presence of an extra person brings about a brutal phenomenon and it continues for years.students work on different countermeasures and at last come to a solution.the main character is koyuchi sakakibara whose mother was also a victim of the phenomenon.main female character is mei misaki who has a doll's eye.its's a short ending story line and i hope there is no way to dislike it.
